Changes in Cook County Laws and How to Protect Yourself

Heather Bailey and Ryan Jacobson co-present a program for the Illinois Restaurant Association on new laws in Cook County and the benefits of employment practices liability insurance. New laws taking effect on July 1, 2017 include the Cook County Minimum Wage Increase, the Cook County Paid Sick Leave Ordinance and the Cook County Sweetened Beverage Tax. During the program they will also provide an overview of Employment Practice Liability Insurance and the types of claims it covers.
