Navigating a Non-Traditional Field and Emerging as Leaders 

Beverly Alfon will moderate a panel discussion, "Navigating a Non-Traditional Field and Emerging as Leaders," at the Illinois Chamber of Commerce Women's Conference. The conference will harness the experiences, leadership and aspirations of women in business, politics, and the nonprofit world, in order to explore pathways to leadership and ways men and women can inspire the next generation of female leaders. 

The panel will include women who have succeeded in traditionally male-dominated fields. The discussion will focus on the barriers women commonly face and career advancement.
