The Experimental Aircraft Association hosts its annual AirVenture conference in OshKosh, WI, where members of our aerospace team presented a breakout session, "Patents, Avionics & Software."
Software implemented inventions have taken a beating for several years; however, the tide is changing favorably. Our attorneys offered an overview of intellectual property and a more detailed discussion of the current state of patent law as applied to avionics innovations, particularly those implemented in software.
