Overview
The Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis hosted its 40th Anniversary Gala on September 10, 2016 at the St. Louis Science Center. Heather Bub, attorney in our St. Louis office and president of the WLA, delivered a key address and presented the President’s Award.
Judge Jane Kelly, judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and Leslie Richards-Yellen, President of the National Association of Women Lawyers, were keynote speakers.
The mission of the Women Lawyers Association of Greater St. Louis is to: promote and assist women to obtain leadership positions, raise awareness and fight off biases against women, promote diversity, equality and justice within the legal profession, support women lawyers, engage in volunteerism and advocacy of women and collaborate with others to improve the status of women.
