Overview
Amundsen Davis was retained to defend an international component part manufacturer, relative to a helicopter crash allegedly caused by the client’s part. Initial motions eliminated higher damage aspects of plaintiff’s claim. Then, through expert testimony, we established the helicopter’s flight path was aeronautically inconsistent with the alleged part failure, and more consistent with operational error. Upon filing the motion for summary judgment, the plaintiff requested mediation, where the matter was settled with confidential terms.
