As outside counsel for a large construction and civil engineering company, Laura Grebe worked closely with innovators to explain the value of intellectual property and grow their patent and trademark portfolio. She successfully obtained allowance for several industry improvements developed by the company, ultimately increasing value when the company combined with a global industry leader. The $5 billion global construction and civil engineering company retained Laura as outside counsel during and following the combination and relied on her to prepare strategic recommendations on portfolio management for the combined company and trademark harmonization as the new company name entered the market.
