Overview

Jason was one of two attorneys who defended a local family business and its owners in a jury trial that lasted nearly two weeks. The plaintiffs claimed that the clients were negligent and trespassed by causing certain substances to leach into the groundwater and cause the death of over 160 milking cows. The plaintiff claimed damages in excess of $5,000,000.00. The jury returned a verdict apportioning negligence to the plaintiff and only awarded damages of approximately 5% of what the plaintiff claimed.
