Overview

Mary Watts defended an emergency medicine physician in a wrongful death suit that included two other defendants . The patient was seen in the emergency room with flu-like symptoms. The patient later died from community acquired MRSA. The jury found in favor of Mary’s client since he ran all appropriate tests and referred the patient immediately to the in-hospital specialist. The jury found against a previous ER physician and subsequent critical care specialist.
