Overview
Attorney David Jose joins Amundsen Davis’s Health Care Practice Group in Indianapolis where he focuses his practice on health care, corporate, administrative and regulatory law. He regularly handles matters for hospitals, mental health centers, long term care facilities and physicians. Jose helps these clients with a variety of matters including regulatory compliance and administrative appeals, internal investigation, contract review and negotiation, reimbursement matters, business transactions, and general commercial and corporate matters.
Outside the office David volunteers and supports organizations that expand opportunities for individuals who are marginalized due to disabilities and other adversities. David is a member of the board of directors of Tangram, the Phoenix Theater, the Indiana Recycling Coalition and the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library. He is an active participant for the Wheeler Mission Team and serves as a member of the Indianapolis advisory board for Back on My Feet, which provides community support and resources for homeless individuals. David is the 2015 recipient of the Indiana Bar Association Community Service Award, the 2013 Mayor of Indianapolis Community Service Award and the 2015 Back on My Feet Volunteer of the Year Award.
