Overview
On April 6, 2017, Amundsen Davis hosted high school juniors and seniors from Urban Prep Academies for "Discovering Our City" day.
As part of their continuous efforts to encourage students to pursue diverse academic and career interests, each year, Urban Prep promotes "Discovering Our City" to the students and asks various businesses around the Chicago area to host or sponsor groups of students and provide them with a glimpse into those fields.
At Amundsen Davis's Chicago office, the students were exposed to many career fields that support and help law firms thrive, including attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, office services, marketing, human resources, technology services, and more. Mock interviews, college-related discussions, and a panel discussion were among the day's activities.
