We are pleased to welcome Steven Sims, who joined our Corporate Practice Group in our Chicago office.
In his 30 years of practice, Steve has established himself as a trusted advisor for businesses and individuals. He assists clients with corporate governance and securities law compliance, corporate finance, secured lending transactions, international business and cross border transactions, intellectual property licensing and management, private equity and venture capital investments, business reorganizations, litigation and risk management, and wind and solar power project leases and easement agreements.
Steve brings the right mix of practical business acumen and technical legal skills. He assists in raising capital, including private placements. He negotiates mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He drafts, negotiates and manages contracts and agreements.
