Amundsen Davis is pleased to announce the promotion of seven attorneys to partner: Michael Cocciemiglio, Isabelle Faust, Sam Fino, Khadija Ghani, Emily Schroeder, Daniel Spungen, and Paul Struebing.

Michael Cocciemiglio – Construction, Chicago

Michael handles all aspects of litigation for commercial clients, including breach of contract, shareholder disputes, construction defects, mechanics lien claims, and real property matters. He also represents clients in all industries during OSHA inspections through the litigation of citations and appeal. Michael earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and B.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Sam Fino – General Liability, St. Charles

Sam assists clients facing premises liability, negligence, personal injury, and property damage issues. He knows the toll the unexpected can have on a family or business and strives to solve problems swiftly while providing the best possible results for his clients. Sam earned his J.D. from the John Marshall School of Law and B.A. from Northern Illinois University.

Khadija Ghani – Transportation & Logistics, Chicago

Khadija counsels clients on regulatory compliance, preservation of evidence, and risk avoidance. She handles personal injury claims, contract disputes, and property loss. Khadija earned her J.D. with high honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law and B.A. in journalism from Loyola University Chicago. She is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Oklahoma.

Emily Schroeder – Transportation & Logistics, Chicago

Emily represents truckers, manufacturers, logistics providers, and insurers in all aspects of civil litigation, including contract disputes, wrongful death, bodily injury, premises liability, and tort defense. She earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and B.A. from Purdue University.

Paul Struebing – Transportation & Logistics, Chicago

Paul defends clients in premises liability and claims arising out of trucking, transportation, and logistics negligence. His clients are motor carriers, logistics providers, retailers, and product manufacturers. As a former medical malpractice defense attorney, Paul has a deep understanding of medicine and the effect that a plaintiff’s underlying medical issues can have on claims. He earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and B.A. with honors from Miami University.

Daniel Spungen – Banking & Finance, Indianapolis

Daniel provides legal guidance with a business perspective in mind. He primarily represents public and private corporations, start-ups and small businesses, banks, and financial institutions. Daniel is experienced in working on regulatory issues, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general counsel services. He certified supply chain professional. Daniel earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and B.S. from Indiana University Kelly School of Business.

Isabelle Faust – Professional Liability, Milwaukee

Isabelle assists a wide variety of businesses and professionals with legal issues pre-suit through adjudication in construction, professional liability, transportation, commercial, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters. She enjoys teaming up with clients at the onset of a matter to understand their perspective, learn every relevant detail, and strategize a game plan. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Marquette University Law School and her bachelors from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
