Overview
Luke Fedlam was appointed to the City of Columbus and Franklin County’s Funding Review Advisory Committee. The Committee’s purpose is to assess public funding practices, analyze tax revenue streams and make recommendations that will enable informed decision-making that aligns with long-term community needs and values.
The Committee will produce a report that analyzes public funding trends and revenue utilization, identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in public fund utilization and recommends long-term strategies to sustain and enhance funding for essential community services.
Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther, along with Columbus City Council President Shannon G. Hardin and Franklin County Board of Commissioners President Erica C. Crawley, appointed the committee members, which includes fifteen community leaders with an understanding of the local human services, cultural arts and travel and tourism industries.
