Secured a Victory for Multiple Chicago Area Road Contractors Pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act

Amundsen Davis secured a victory for multiple Chicago area road contractors pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. We assisted our client in securing a new labor classification and rates that preserve their competitiveness. These contractors needed a new classification that included “permanent” pavement and road markings at certain wage and benefit rates. In the span of 8 months we obtained the relief our clients had been fighting for going on nearly 30 years.
