Overview
The state of Illinois recently threatened to debar a solar panel installation contractor from performing work under the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act for a period of four years. This would have resulted in substantial business losses to the contractor and would have affected the progress of many projects throughout Illinois. Amundsen Davis’s skilled attorneys diligently fought on behalf of the contractor and promptly saved the contractor from being debarred in Illinois. After identifying certain unique flaws in the state’s position, we were able to void a notice of violation and thwart the threat of debarment. This has allowed the contractor to continue performing work on public works projects in Illinois.
