As Indianapolis Works Transition Director for the City of Indianapolis, Suzannah Overholt led the consolidation of governmental services. She designed and implemented a plan for local government reform, including the merger of the police department and law enforcement division of the sheriff’s department, as well as consolidation of township fire departments into the city fire department. She negotiated the framework of the consolidation with local and state elected officials.
