The jury returned a verdict for $100K less than the plaintiff’s pre-trial demand.

Successfully settled matter involving allegations of a minor being sexually groomed and assaulted by a running trainer employed by an international fitness center chain. Allegations revolved around failure to conduct a background check on the trainer who had a sexual assault conviction in another state 22 years prior to the alleged occurrences. 

The suit involved the design of solar farms in New Jersey.

Peter Hansen successfully defended security industry employer in a nationwide wage and hour class and collective actions alleging violations of federal and Illinois and Wisconsin state wage and hour laws, including rounding, timecard manipulation, unpaid overtime, and travel time.

Amundsen Davis defended a $50  billion, publicly traded financial holding company in suit seeking to recover $800 million in damages due to alleged statutory violations by its subsidiary.

Successfully settled matter involving allegations that plaintiff was sexually assaulted by a hotel bartender who made entry into her room after creating a duplicate room key without the front desk attendant’s knowledge. 

Peter Hansen obtained summary judgment for manufacturing client in a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination in violation of public policy stemming from a workers’ compensation claim.

Amundsen Davis’s real estate team handled the acquisition and development of a 61-acre tract of ground in St. Charles, Missouri, including obtaining all entitlements to permit the project.
